In the field of Georesources and Energy, the education courses delivered by IFP School are based on a team of permanent teachers and external speakers to offer a unique spectrum of skills ranging from industrial know-how to the most advanced research skills.
Permanent faculty
The teaching of the various programs in this field is provided by a permanent team with a variety of expertise. All exploration-production trades are represented: geologist, geophysicist, reservoir engineer, drilling engineer and production engineer. The profiles are mixed:
- half of them come from the world of research
- the other half comes from industry
- some have a dual research/industry culture
Visiting lecturers
IFP School also calls on more than a hundred external speakers, with various profiles:
- research, in particular from IFP Energies nouvelles laboratories
- French or European universities
- industry experts active in operating oil companies, service companies or companies in the IFP Energies nouvelles group
