On the afternoon of Thursday June 1, the engineering students in the class of 2023 took part in the Energy Games, IFP School's traditional sports challenge, at the Domaine de Vert-Mont in Rueil-Malmaison.
Before the competition got underway, the students had a chance to recharge their batteries and enjoy lunch on the grass, courtesy of a food truck set up on site for the first time.
In a joyful atmosphere and under a beautiful spring sun, 18 teams organized by program competed in a series of events and games.
The event, which marks the end of training for some programs, was organized by the Student Office (BDE). This year's event ended with a color run under clouds of colored powder in aid of the class gift. The funds raised by the run will help finance an Excellence Scholarship for a student in the next graduating class!
Team 1 from the Energy and Markets program (ENM) made it to the podium. They were presented with first prize by Christine Travers, Dean of IFP School.
Team 2 from the Energy and Powertrains program (MOT) came in second and was honored by the IFP School Alumni Association, represented by Olivier Thrierr, a graduate of the former Petroleum Economics program (class of 1985).
Finally, students from Team 2 of the Energy and Products (PRO) program took third prize.
Congratulations to all the winning teams and to the BDE for organizing this wonderful event!
