IFP School is organizing in partnership with the Société des ingénieurs de l’automobile (SIA), the Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), Sorbonne Université and the Societé des ingénieurs de l’automobile de Roumaine (SIAR) a series of conferences given in French from March 9 to 30, 2021.
These free conferences (upon prior registration) are intended for engineers, technicians, researchers and students interested in the evolution of techniques for reducing energy consumption and pollutant emissions from powertrains.
Due to the health crisis, the conferences will take place online from 6:30 pm to 8 pm (Paris time):
- March 9th, 2021 – "Decarbonized powertrains for road freight transportation" with Marc LEJEUNE, Powertrain Concept Team Director at Renault Trucks.
- March 16th, 2021 – "The role of hydrogen in decarbonized mobility" with Julien ROUSSEL, Products and Services Director at GreenGT SA and a graduate of IFP School’s Petroleum Products and Powertrains program (the predecessor of the Energy and Products program – class of 2002).
- March 23rd, 2021 – "Water injection for the consumer car" with Joël OP DE BEECK, Research Program Director at Plastic Omnium Clean Energy Systems.
- March 30th, 2021 – "Means and methods of hydrogen production" with Christophe COUTANCEAU, Professor at the Université de Poitiers, Institut de Chimie des milieux et matériaux de Poitiers (IC2MP), Leader of the MediaCat team – Co-Chair of the "Stationary Applications" axis of the FRH2 (Hydrogen Federation) of CNRS.
