Last October, the students of the 2020 Class of the Energy and Products (PRO) program attended the 7th Bioethanol Conference organised by the Syndicat national des producteurs d'alcool agricole (SNPAA) at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris.
The group was invited by Nicolas Kurtsoglou, a 2011 PRO program graduate who is currently working as a fuel engineer at the SNPAA. The students attended two round tables on the future of bioethanol in Europe and on its role in the energy transition.
These conferences allow students to discover the challenges that this bio-economy represents. They equally complement the courses on bioethanol offered by the School, which also include a visit to a biorefinery.
