Once again this year, IFP School participated in the GeoEnergy Days which took place from June 25 to 27 in Pau, in southwest France. Organized by Pole Avenia, this international business and innovation convention brings together players from different geosciences sectors such as oil & gas, geothermal energy and geological storage.
The 2019 edition, which this year welcomed Senegal as guest of honour, was attended by more than 500 participants from about twenty countries, offering a great opportunity for the team of the Georesources and Energy Centre to present our activities to new partners!
Frédérique Fournier, director of the Georesources and Energy Centre, and Pierre-Yves Déquirez, teacher in the field of geosciences, make a positive assessment: "It is a satisfaction to find, alongside major groups and many potential partners, dynamic young entrepreneurs, such as these 2 former students of the school, who followed the Petroleum Geosciences program in 2007: Nicolas Pélissier, now at the head of a start-up, 45-8 Energy , and Ludovic Peignard, whose start-up, EarthQuick, is in full expansion!"
