On June 23, students from the Energy & Processes and Energy & Products programs visited the Dunkirk area, to discover the city and its port facilities, and meet with industrialists involved in CO2 and hydrogen projects.
Organized by Dunkerque Promotion, the visit enabled them to discover the major challenges facing the Dunkirk territory in terms of decarbonizing industry.
The students were welcomed by Jean-Pierre Triquet, Director of ArcelorMittal's Digital Lab. They also met Emmanuelle Leroy Cerqueira, Director of Attractiveness and Employment at Communauté urbaine de Dunkerque, Abdelhak Aitsi, Development Director at EDF, Jean-Claude Quatennens, Employment Delegate at Action Régionale EDF Hauts de France, and Aude Humbert, IFP School graduate (ENR, 2013) and Project Manager at H2V.
The group of students was accompanied by Laetitia Salessy, Director of the Processes for Energy and Chemicals Center, and El Hadj Miliani, lecturer at IFP School's Powertrains and Sustainable Mobility Center.
The School would like to thank the Dunkerque Promotion team: Cyrille Gaillard, Project Manager, Florine Ringot - Moyon, Project Manager, and Fabienne Manceau, Communications Manager, as well as Romain Hyart, Project Manager for the Assises Européennes de la Transition énergétique at Euraénergie, for organizing this event and for their warm welcome.
Relive this day rich in discovery and sharing thanks to CorsaireTV's video report.
