From April 12 to 20, the most active members of the SPE Student Chapter met with professionals in the field in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Hosted by DNVGL, Schlumberger, Vallourec, Keppel AmFELS, Beicip Franlab Asia, Technip FMC, PVTRC Petronas, they also attended Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) conferences, including one on the impact of big data on the sector, and were received at the French embassy in Malaysia to discuss that country's socio-economic challenges. It was a great opportunity for our students to better understand the industrial and professional challenges that await them at the end of their studies.
Thanks to the sponsors - Perenco, SPE France as well as Oilfield Production Consultants (OPC) and the Alumni IFP School association - who supported this trip!
