The city of Rueil-Malmaison organized its first innovation competition from 5 to 7 October with the support of many companies and local players, including IFP School. Over the weekend, the candidates of this hackathon challenge worked on new ideas to reinvent the life of the people of Rueil on the following themes: new energies, urban planning, living together and health.
This event brought together young people aged 16 to 30 from various backgrounds, including Gabriel Nichele Sampaio, a student of the master Powertrain Engineering
(class of 2019), who made IFP School proud. With his teammates, he received the Energy Award for his smartphone app concept focused on improving waste management in the city.
By means of an inter-neighbourhood challenge, the proposed mobile game should encourage the people of Rueil to reduce their waste. The objective for the city is to optimize the cost of household waste management. An innovation to follow!
