Magy Avedissian joined IFP School in July 2023 as the Energy and Markets Program Supervisor.
Magy started her career at QRI, based in Houston (Texas, USA), specializing in financial evaluation and working with clients ranging from small independent enterprises to super major. She aided in recommending financially viable options for developing their petroleum assets. Along side this, she has worked extensively on field data management as well as machine learning driven solutions for client asset management. Concurrently, she was involved in the development of multi-year technology strategy in the Government of Armenia.
As a California native, Magy obtained her bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, shortly before moving to France to pursue her master’s degree in Petroleum Economics and Management (now ETEM) from IFP School.
