The FONGECIF (Fonds de Gestion des Congés Individuels de Formation) is in France OPACIF (for Organisme Paritaire au titre du Congé Individuel de Formation).
In 1983, the FONGECIF, twenty-six in number, were created. In 2012, they will have 600 employees nationwide. To date, these FONGECIFs have financed more than one million professional projects. The application of the NOTRe law reduces the number of FONGECIF to 17 as from 1 January 2017.
