The Energy Games, IFP School's traditional sports challenge, took place on the afternoon of May 27th at the Vert-Mont estate in Rueil-Malmaison.
Organized by the Bureau des Élèves (BDE), this event brings together all of the School's training programs and marks, for some, the end of the academic year.
The students of the IFP School class of 2021 met in good spirits and under the sun. The entire class had not met since the integration week at the beginning of the academic year. After two lockdowns and distance learning, the students were delighted to meet up with their classmates!
As Ghita Louali, a student in the Energy and Processes program and Sports Manager for the BDE, points out:
"Last year due to the health crisis, the Energy Games were held virtually. It was a delight to organize this 2021 edition and share this moment with everyone.”
The BDE was able to adapt the program to the health rules still in force, by distributing the activities and organizing rotations between the teams.
The festivities started with a picnic on the grass, followed by a color run (running under clouds of colored powders). After this warm-up, during which laughter ensued, the 19 teams competed in 9 sports activities:
- Giant human foosball (inflatable game);
- Tug of war;
- Volleyball ;
- Dodgeball;
- Pétanque;
- Team relay with a sack race;
- Tic-tac-toe game (with studs and t-shirts as crosses and circles);
- Mölkky;
- Béret game.
At the end of the afternoon, the BDE jury met to award the prizes to the winners, in the presence of Christine Travers, Dean of the School:
- 1st prize: Energy and Markets team n°1
- 2nd prize: Petroleum Engineering and Project Development team
- 3rd prize: Energy and Processes team n°3 and Energy and Markets team n°3
Congratulations to all!
