IFP School and IFP Training have just signed an academic agreement with the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Agostinho Neto (FEUAN, Angola) to launch a postgraduate program in petroleum engineering in Luanda (Angola).
This new program, which responds to a strong demand from the Angolan government to train young engineers in the field of energy, will be financed by the Ministry of Mining and Petroleum Resources (Mirempet) and will start in September 2023. The courses will take place at FEUAN, located in the Angolan capital, where 34 weeks of classes will be given, followed by a 20-week internship for the students.
IFP School is delighted with the signing of this agreement, which paves the way for a broader collaboration, with a second postgraduate program on renewable energies and energy transition already on the horizon, this time with the Instituto Supérior Politécnico de Tecnologias e Ciências (ISPTEC) and potentially with local industrial support.
