An impressive new intake of students arrived for the start of the academic year in September in Rueil, reflecting the endeavors of the School’s personnel and industrial partners to increase its appeal: more students from French engineering schools, more apprentices, more young women.
Proof, if proof were needed, that our sectors are still capable of attracting the young generations. Significant efforts in terms of communication and teaching methods are essential to maintain the momentum, and, to this end, the School also needs its alumni. Please talk to those around you about your experience!
Moreover, the School is pursuing its development, launching a new teaching and research chair in the field of carbon management, a fundamental energy transition theme, thanks to Total and the Tuck Foundation.
In partnership with IFP Training, the School is resuming its off-site degree programs and international academic partnerships with prestigious institutes and universities outside France. You can read about the programs in Singapore, Dakar and Yamoussoukro in this issue.
It should be pointed out that with the 16th master’s degree ceremony in Nigeria, the School reached an important milestone: the 1,000th off-site program graduate.
On behalf of the School and its staff, I would like to wish you all a very happy festive period and an exciting and successful new year ahead.
I hope you enjoy reading this issue,
